New to CTFs or pen testing? This relaxed, beginner-friendly experience is built for you. Zero knowledge required—just curiosity. Friendly mentors will help you learn at your own pace and snag your first flamingo flag. 🦩
What Makes It Different
- Guided learning: mentors on hand to answer questions and unblock you.
- Drop-in friendly: short afternoon sessions with open seats for walk-ups.
- Morning “open mike”: a casual pre-lunch demo session—swing by, say hi, try a challenge.
- Hands-on: small self-contained challenges that teach core skills.

Can’t commit to a full session? Drop in—staff will get you rolling.
What to Bring
- Your laptop with Wi-Fi (USB helpful but not required)
- We’ll have a limited number of loaner laptops available
- Bring your questions—no such thing as a silly one here
Friendly Rules
- Be supportive and patient—this is a learning zone.
- Respect the equipment and fellow participants.
- Only interact with systems provided for the CTF.
